This double-trademarked week takes the fun of Klutz™, mixes it with the joy of Lego™, and then adds a Wonder Kids science twist on top. Campers will build all of the contraptions in Klutz™’s newest edition of its Lego Crazy Action Contraptions book, under the guidance of our master Lego™ engineers. (Although we know that many of our campers are already certified Lego™ experts themselves). Then stand back as we unleash the power of simple machines! Morph your basic contraptions to the next level, as you turn them into zany candy dispensers, spy-cams and the transformers of your choice – all while learning the science behind pulleys, gears, ramps and more.

In Contraption Art, design your own contraptions in the style of Rube Goldberg. Then try your hand at crazy, space-defying pictures like those of M. C. Escher. Finally, brainstorm your own science fiction world and bring it to life in not just three, but FOUR, dimensions!

In Contraption Sports, take Team-Building to a whole new level as you and your team members cooperate like well-oiled machines to reach your common goal. Your group can only solve its challenges when you work together as one.

Each camper receives one copy of Klutz’s™ Lego Crazy Action Contraptions with registration.
