Harness the power of the elements. Enter the Avatar Training Academy, and use science to bend air, water, earth and fire like the Avatar! Learn how to make objects fly and come together in mid-air without touching them (using Bernouilli’s not-so-secret science of air pressure). Command a plastic diver to the bottom of the sea, and conjure up your own spinning whirlpool with the science of liquids and density. Use Newton’s principles of motion to master earth-bending and send objects in any direction. Finally, use “fire”-bending to harness the sun’s power and cook up some delicious melted s’mores in your solar cooker. On Friday, you and your teammates will display your newly discovered powers at graduation.

In Avatar Academy Art, you’ll design and create the cool gear you need while learning how to bend elements. Make an amulet with the symbol of the air, water, earth or fire nation, and build air-bending and water-bending tools. Create maps for your quests and make your own fluffy Apa to “fly” home on.

In Avatar Academy Sports, learn fun games played by water-bending, air-bending and earth-bending children. For example, use your earth-bending powers as a team to guide a boulder into a hole. Try not to laugh too hard when using water-bending powers to move team-mates from island to island, without getting them wet. These games only work when it’s one for all, and all for one!
