BFF: Belonging, Feelings, and Friendship!

Join us for BFF: Belonging, Feelings, and Friendship!  This group is especially for children who would benefit from extra support with social skills, emotional regulation, and peer relationships. Through play, games, creative activities, storytelling, and guided interaction, children will learn and practice important skills such as understanding feelings (their own and others’), managing big emotions, problem-solving and conflict resolution and building confidence in social situations.  In this group, therapeutic play activities are intentionally designed to help children express themselves, build social confidence, and strengthen emotional skills in a safe, low-demand, and nurturing environment.  Our goal is to help children grow socially and emotionally while having fun, building connections, and developing skills they can use at school, at home, and in their community.

We plan to incorporate elements of everyone’s favorite character: Bluey, building, making, art and so much more.
