Presenting Readers’ Theater Drama Camp at SummerEdge! Delve into the world of theatrical arts and ignite your child’s creativity and imagination. Designed for rising grades 3-7, this camp offers a dynamic blend of activities aimed at honing theater skills and fostering a love for performance.

Throughout the week-long session, campers will immerse themselves in an array of engaging activities, including design, movement, music, games, and more. From following stage directions to mastering character development, choreography, and set design, campers will explore every aspect of theatrical production.

At Readers’ Theater Drama Camp, we prioritize the joy of performance over memorization. Campers will have the opportunity to express themselves freely without the pressure of memorizing lines. Instead, they’ll focus on bringing characters to life and captivating audiences with their creativity and talent.

The highlight of the camp is the final performance, where campers showcase their newfound skills in a recorded drama production*. Families will have the opportunity to witness the culmination of their child’s hard work and dedication, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

*Please ensure your camper can attend the final day performance. If they are unable to attend and perform, please inform the instructor as soon as possible. This will affect the roles needed for the final day of production.
